Indiana Sports Corp:
Fall 2022

During the Fall of 2022, I was able to intern at Indiana Sports Corp in Indianapolis, IN. While I was there, I was able to grow in my skills from prepping files to print, sending files off to production, communicating with printing vendors, Adobe shortcuts, making PowerPoint templates, maps, feather flags, and so much more. I’m very grateful for the time I got to spend with their amazing team and all of the experiences and opportunities it brought with it.

Big Ten Football Championship Game 2022

These are some physical and digital items I helped create for the game on December 3rd, 2022. The coloring page was meant for the kid’s activation on the event day, the General Events Map was sent out via email before the big day so people could be prepared and get more info before arriving in Indy, and the Volunteer credentials were printed and passed out accordingly. The RV Nation FormStack header was used digitally for their activation as well.

Once I was there, we hit the ground running, working on Big Ten Football Championship Game 2022 items. Many small details go into a large-scale game like this, and it was fun seeing it from a designer’s standpoint and having a hand in creating a lot of the materials.

Here are some of the hotel pieces I helped make and prep for production

I was also able to design some of the main pieces that were distributed to the participating Bars and Restaurants. These included window decals, a button, and coasters.

State of Sports 2022

I was able to be a part of the State of Sports 2022. This was a fun project because I didn’t know this was a yearly recognition ceremony so it was nice being on the inside and helping design little details that were a part of it.

These are some physical items I helped create for the State of Sports.

Indy Classic 2022

I was able to be a part of the first Indy Classic held in Indianapolis, IN, on December 17th, 2022. It was fun being a part of this compared to the FCG because ISC was hosting it compared to the Big Ten, so we had a lot more control over everything like sponsors, signage, ads, involvement, etc. - compared to someone else telling us when and how to do certain things.

These are some physical items I helped make and produce for the Indy Classic.

Here are some photos of the items from the event day. I was able to be a part of the installation process and got to Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 5 am to help with signage before the teams arrived on site. A lot of time and work goes into all of the little details, and it was fun installing some of the work I got to design.

I was also able to design many things digitally, including some ads sent to participating schools to help spread hype and awareness around the event, some supporting screens for LOC Meetings, an IndyVolved Ad, Gainbridge Fieldhouse Instagram posts, and a wordmark.
